Saturday 18th I took three speed tests in Norwich and the download speed never went above 2.89 Mbps. Is this an acceptable speed?

Thank you @CCG

On checking, the coverage for 4G in that area is excellent but we're fixing an issue in this area at the moment and aim to have things back up-and-running as soon as possible.

We're sorry for any disruption this may cause and will add any further updates here.

Thanks,

Hey here @CCG, thank you for reaching out.

We don’t have a general download speed for any area or for a general download speed test.

What was the full postcode please?

Were you connected to 3G, 4G or 5G at the time there also?

Thanks,

Tyler

Hi @CCG,

How long has the issue been ongoing?

Most issues are fixed in around a few days to a week.

However if the issue has been ongoing for some time we can send you a PM.

Well you said the coverage in my area is excellent but that is only a half truth. On your network coverage page there is conflicting info. On the left there is a box that say coverage excellent. But on the right there is a map that says coverage is excellent outdoors but not good indoors. And the person that contacted me by phone as a response to my complaint just said I’d be better off finding another provider if I wanted internet access t home. You see, that’s one of the problems with IDMobile, misleading and conflicting information.

That’s only one part of the problem. The second is that although I’m leaving during the 30 day cooling off period I’ve h go of an email saying I’d have to pay £140. More hassle for me, I had to make another complaint on the phone to get reassurance that the contract was going to be honoured. This saga has wasted a lot of my time, I can’t wait to get rid of this company.

Hey there @CCG, if you leave during the returns window, you wouldn’t be charged the termination fee of £140.00.

You’re only being quoted that because you’ve requested a PAC code to leave with your number, before following the correct returns process, so the email automatically gives you the termination fee. If you wish to leave during the returns window with no exit fee, then please contact our customer services, who can set up the return for you, and once the return is completed, they can give you a PAC code to keep your number.

If you require any further assistance here, please let us know, and sorry it worked out like this.

Thanks,

Tyler
