I thought that ‘roam like at home’ prices still apply but I don’t seem to be getting them at the moment.

I’m in France, a pretty standard roaming location, and I’ve been charged 40p for a 1 minute call and I’m being charged 10p per megabyte of data which is ten times the rate at home.

What’s going on?

Yes, I have finally got this clear.  However it is far from obvious when searching through the information in the idMobile web site.

Although idMobile offers ‘roam like at home’ in many destinations, this does **not** apply to ‘out of plan’ charges.  So you don’t get the 3-2-1 rates when out of the UK.  The other problem is that the web site calls them ‘plans’ whereas in conversations with customer services and here that are called ‘bundles’.

It really should be made clear, explicitly, somewhere that ‘roam like at home’ rates **only** apply to bundles (or plans).

Hi @chrisisbd,

Welcome to the Community!

Do you have a bundle or are you using your top-up credit?

You’ll need to have a bundle in order to use the Roaming feature.
