Confirming out of contract leaving cost

Hello,

Today is the first day of last month of my 12 month contract. When I checked yesterday (2 June), it said that if I were to leave on that day, my final bill would be £8.15. I checked again today (3 June) and it said that if I left today my final bill would be £15.89. I assume that this is the cost for this month and next month’s (30 days) bill.

My current billing period is 03/06/2025 - 02/07/2025. So, if I were to request a PAC and transfer to a different provider on 3/7 (one day beyond my 12 month contract), would I only be liable for this month’s costs and one day of next month’s bill?

Many thanks.

Hi @DJade

The estimated can get a little confused in these situations as it tries to predict.

The short of it is, if your plan disconnects and you leave BEFORE your contracted term end date, you’ll only owe for bills through to that date.

If you leave AFTER your contracted term end date, you’ll owe for the time through to disconnection.

Thanks, Tom. Makes sense, but just wanted to double check. Much appreciated.
