If you’re planning to travel to the following destinations: USA, India, Morocco, South Africa, New Zealand, Turkey, Mexico, Australia, Hong Kong, or Switzerland, we’ve got you covered with our great value Rest of World Data Add-ons, starting from just £3.50 a day. You can choose from a range of options to suit your needs:

  • 2GB for £5 for 1 day.
  • 10GB for £20 over 5 days.
  • 20GB for £35 over 10 days.

So, whether you’re exploring the streets of New York, hiking in New Zealand, or working remotely from Mexico, you’ll have all the data you need to stay connected. Please note: It’s best to buy your Add-on before you travel, while you’re still in the UK, to avoid any out-of-plan charges once you’re abroad.

When does my Add-on start?

Our Rest of World Add-ons will start immediately after you purchase it. To avoid incurring out-of-plan charges at your destination, we recommend buying the Add-on while you are still in the UK. Alternatively, you can turn your roaming off, arrive at your new destination, connect to a local secure Wi-Fi and then purchase an Add-on.

 


 

How long does my Add-on last?

Our Rest of World data Add-ons last for 1 day, 5 days, and 10 days. These can run across different billing periods depending on when you purchased it. You can check when an Add-on is due to expire by going to the dashboard of your iD Mobile app or at my.idmobile.co.uk/login under ‘Add-ons’.

 


 

Can I cancel an Add-on?

Unfortunately, you cannot cancel an Add-on. Your Add-on will expire after its duration, depending on which Add on you bought.

 


 

Will my bill cap effect my Add-on?

No, Add-ons are not included in your Bill Cap. If your Bill Cap is set at £3.00 and you buy a £3.00 Add-on, you’ll still have £3.00 left on your Bill Cap. Find out more about how Bill Caps work here.

 


 

Do Add-ons carry over after a plan change/upgrade?

Yes, your Add-on will remain on your account even if you change your plan.

 


 

I’ve gone over my allowance - can I cover it with an Add-on?

If you go over your allowance, you’ll be charged out-of-bundle rates until you buy an Add-on. Remember, your Add-on can’t be backdated or used to cover past usage. But once you’ve bought the Add-on, it will help you with limiting out-of-bundle charges by providing better value.
