I’m going to Oz for about 28 days later this year. 
What are my options and costs with id? I can buy an eSIM in Oz as one option.

The iD Mobile Roam Beyond data-only add-on product, includes Australia, ​@trolley58. 

For a 4-week stay, probably cheaper to get a data-only eSIM with a 30-day travel plan for Australia, assuming you’ve got a dual-SIM with eSIM capability. 

I’ve used data-only eSIM plans from Soracom Mobile and GoMoWorld, for my most recent visits to Australia.
