Hey there ​@Denanse, sorry to hear you had issues last year. So long as roaming is enabled via both the iD Mobile app/website, and also your phone’s own settings, calls in Czech Republic should work fine. Unfortunately, it’s difficult to troubleshoot what the issue was/is unless you have the issue again, and then contact us right away if the issue does arise again, so we can then assist further and do some troubleshooting to hopefully resolve it for you. But hopefully it’ll work next time so long as you’re all set up correctly.

For texting from the UK to someone abroad, you’ll need to ensure you’re entering the area code as you’ve mentioned, and also ensure you’ve enabled roaming and international settings via the app/website and your phone’s own settings. Please note however, it is not free to text abroad from the UK. You will need to increase your bill cap to allow for the texts to go through if you’re texting someone abroad from the UK.

It is only free to text someone if you’re in Czech Republic, and you were texting someone either in the same country, another inclusive EU country, or someone back in the UK.
