I’m currently in Dominican Republic with 4 bars of signal and all settings in my services within the ID app enabled to use internationally, yet I can’t recieve or send any messages or receive phone calls. People trying to call just get the message ‘Your call cannot be connected’
I can call out but it takes forever to connect.
I’m trying to receive a text message with an OTP to log onto my bank, but it just won’t come through. I have tried sending messages and some send some say error. The ones that are sending aren’t been received (I’ve asked friend back home via WhatsApp), yet my current bill amount goes up by 60p each time they ‘send’
I did receive a bunch of OTP messages and voicemail messages at one point when iD send an sms to tell me I’d used 80% of my bill cap. So it seemed once they messaged me it created a connection and send the rest…
iPhone 15, I’ve reset network settings, I’ve removed the sim. Force restart etc etc etc I even put my sim in my partner’s phone and it didn’t receive anything!
Any help please? I’ve messaged I’d via Facebook messenger and they’ve not offered any help
