I'm in Las Vagas. I've purchased a data roaming addon but i can't conbect to and oprator here. I've resrated my phone and few times, addded flight mode and turned off to try and find an operator. I've tried to find an oprator manually but all that's selected is not linking. Please help. I really need to use my phone abd currently can only do so in the hotel. All my roaming is turned on. I've followed all instructions from your website advice.

Hi @Klightley1

Unfortunately iD Mobile rely on their US roaming partners providing network services when you’re in the USA.

In theory you can use your iD SIM to roam in the USA, assuming everything is setup on your handset with the iD SIM, and your iD account, to allow roaming in the USA to work.

When you arrive in the USA, if everything is configured properly you should receive an iD Mobile roaming rates SMS text message.

If not, then roaming in the USA, with your iD SIM card, could be problematic.

The networks that you can connect to with your roaming add-on can be found here:-
Turn off automatic network selection in your phone settings and manually try to connect to one of iD Mobile's US partner networks

Scroll down to ‘ Roam Beyond Destinations’ and expand ‘United States (USA)’ to see the which networks can be used.
If you can connect to one of these then you should be good to go.

If you don’t mind the inconvenience, you can always pick up a pre-paid SIM in LV and use that for the duration of your visit and then replace your iD SIM once home.

Hope this helps x

Hi @Klightley1,

Please try connecting to AT&T and T-Mobile this is the networks that we support in USA.

Thanks,

This didn't work either. I've tried all operators everyday and no luck. I connected to a network and had roaming when i went on a day trip to another state but stopped when i returned back to Vegas.

Hi @Klightley1.

Thanks for trying those steps and for the update.

Since you’re still not getting service back in Vegas after it worked while roaming, please contact us directly via live chat at https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat so our team can review your account and check your roaming settings and network registration.

Thanks,

Marquerita
