Could someone tell me why I am unable to use data abroad please?

I’m sorry to hear you’re unable to use data abroad I appreciate how important it is to stay connected while travelling.

 

Unfortunately, we’re unable to see your exact location or confirm whether you’re connected to a supported roaming country or partner network, so we need to run through a few checks to help identify the cause.

 

Please check the following:
1. Roaming is enabled in the iD Mobile app:
Log in to the iD Mobile app
Go to Account / Settings
Ensure Roaming is switched ON


2. Data roaming is enabled on your handset:
Go to your phone Settings
Select Mobile Network / Connections
Turn Data Roaming ON


3. Set your Bill Cap to £0:
In the iD Mobile app go to Billing & Usage
Select Bill Cap
Set it to £0 to avoid any out-of-plan charges


4. Connect to the correct partner network:

You must be connected to one of our supported roaming partner networks in the country you are visiting.
