Corfu Roaming Warning with £0 Bill Cap

Hi, I am currently in Corfu.

Last night at 6:44pm I got a text saying I am roaming outside of the EU. I think the carrier swapped to an Albanian network as we can see Albania from our hotel in North Corfu.

I have a £0 bill cap and don't believe I should have managed to connect, but around 8pm I used Youtube, I didn't see the text until about 12am.

With a £0 bill cap, and the fact I am actually in Corfu, how can I either avoid or dispute any charge. For the whole previous day it was connected to a greek network, Or I had not got the sms on time.

I can manually select networks but they seem extremely patchy and I have no idea which is Greek and which isn't.

Let me know

Thanks

Okay @beno2k75128, if your iD account bill cap is £0, then you can’t incur any out-of-plan charges - such as connecting to an Albanian mobile network, for mobile data.

Hi @beno2k75128

As long as you have a £0 bill cap, you won’t be charged for usage outside of your allowances.

In Greece, our roaming partners are Wind Hellas and Cosmote.
