I was recently in Europe in several countries and I could not use my data. Calls and texts were fine but I had no internet. I tried everything I could find in phone settings and iD mobile app settings. I have an android phone (alcaltel 1B, android 11). I am going to Hungary tomorrow and would like to have data. I have been thinking about upgrading my plan, but I won’t if I cant use data abroad.

Sorry to hear that, have you tried resetting network settings while abroad?
Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.
