Data Roaming No Go

I paid £20 for 5 days of data roaming and 10gb data for turkey last week but it never worked. I don’t know if it’s because of the mountains but I never could receive or send messages or calls.

Sorry to hear your roaming add-on didn’t work while you were in Turkey, I can understand how disappointing that must have been, especially when you needed it.

 

If you’re still in Turkey, please make sure your phone is connected to one of our roaming partners there, which are Turkcell, Telekom or AVEA. You can usually check and change this in your network settings by selecting a network manually. It may also help to try a network reset on your device.

 

If you’re now back in the UK, please let us know and we can look into this further with you and discuss an appropriate resolution.

I also paid £20 for 5 days and had no internet connection at all.

Due to go again in 3 weeks and dont want this problem again.

Sorry to hear you had no internet connection after paying for your add-on, that’s definitely not the experience we want you to have.

 

Just so we can point you in the right direction, can you confirm if you were (and will be) roaming in Turkey when this happened?

 

Once we know that, we’ll be able to give you the correct steps and make sure you’re set up properly before your next trip in a few weeks.

Hi I bought it in airport before I left on the app.

Got to turkey and nothing..

No signal at all.

Could you please confirm if you were connected to Turk Telekom? This is our network partner in Turkey, and you should be able to receive signal and use services while connected to this network.

Kindly note that the bundle would only work if it is still valid and for the same country, if not, a new one would need to be purchased.
