I have an iPhone 11 and am train travelling to Poland. In France and Belgium the data roaming hasn’t worked. I’ve checked the phone and the ID app and both have roaming switched on. I have done network setting reset but no use. The chat function guy told me to manually select Orange and switch off but this doesn’t work. An ID employee, Tom, in a thread a week or more ago told customer to go to a private chat for a fix. Can Tom or someone help me please.

Hi @GuyD, are you still experiencing an issue with this?

If you can, it may be worth also logging into your iD account, switching off roaming, waiting around an hour, and switching it back on. This can resolve any issues if a manual network selection hasn’t worked.

If you’re using an iPhone, and it’s just data you can’t use, the issue is likely to be an APN one. The below can fix this:

Connect the phone to WiFi and then open Safari and head to http://www.unlockit.co.nz/

Tap Create APN Change the Country to UK

Find iD in the list Scroll down and tap Create APN

Tap Allow on the pop-up then Install in the top right corner. Then restart and make sure Data Roaming is turned on and test.

I got 4G briefly about 21.00 last night but today in Germany, I’m getting only a phone and text signal.  Trying the recommended actions again gets me nowhere.
