Data roaming wont add on to my account


Trying to add data roaming for Turkey last couple of days but error message states can’t add and try later. I fly today 🙈 anyone else had this? I’ve tried the network reset and check my phone and plan is set for data roaming. ID can’t help as they say they’ve issues 🙄🙈 Thanks

Okay ​@Sunshinegirl, if you’ve got a dual-SIM phone with eSIM capability maybe get a data-only eSIM with a travel plan for Turkey instead. 

Just Google “travel eSIM for Turkey” to see some options.

So sorry to hear that you have been having trouble adding roaming. Is it activated on your device? Have you tried a reboot?

Is it the add on for roaming you’re trying to add? International Calling & Roaming Charges | iD Mobile Network

Hi tried all of those and still won’t work, Tom on messages tried and has raised to the team…. Hopefully it’ll be added before I fly today 🤦‍♀️

@andewhite thank you, I’m in my 60s and that’s a bit past my tecky capabilies 🙈 I’m going to see if I can get anything at the airport and someone to help if ID can’t sort by then 🤦‍♀️ thank you though for your help, I should have got my kids to sort for me before leaving home. Always been with EE since the 90s and no issues only just left as my daughter did the switch for me 😂🙄

@Kash yes I have, I fly in a couple of hours surely someone can add this to my account? I’ve an 86yr old father I need to keep in touch with! I’m wishing I never left EE 🙈😣

I contacted through Facebook…. I’m ready to board and still not working!! I’m really not impressed with the service. I can’t believe I just can’t have it added to my account by ID…. I’ve been messaging and asking for help for 2 days! I’m using all my data trying to sort this.
