I am travelling to Montenegro which is outside the free list and have noted the charges it costs to use my plan outside of this. Does ID mobile not offer a daily plan to use this like other networks to make this more affordable? I.e a £2 cost additional to use this?

They do offer Roam Beyond data add-ons starting from just £5 a day for the following countries USA, India, Morocco, South Africa, New Zealand, Turkey, Mexico, Australia, Hong Kong, or Switzerland.
Unfortunately Montenegro is not part of this as of yet and is also not part of the EU
