If you look around this forum, you’ll see the iD Mobile Roam Beyond data add-on has apparently proved unreliable or not worked at all in some cases,
If you’ve got a dual-SIM phone that’s eSIM capable, a data-only eSIM with a travel plan for New Zealand might be a better option.
Just Google “travel eSIM for New Zealand”.
