The app says I have unlimited data, but I am currently overseas and know there is a 30gb cap.

my bill shows my usage, but I can’t find current usage.

There is no cap currently so roam away. Feel free to put a £0 spend cap just incase to avoid any out of allowance charges.

    Hi @leanne_winter

Thank you for getting in touch.

From 1 October 2024 and until further notice, all customers can use their full UK data allowance in Roam Free destinations*, at no extra cost! We’ll notify you when the promotion ends and when the 30GB Roaming data limit is reinstated. More information can be found here

Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Natalie

    Thank you

on the ID website it says ‘Customers who joined iD on or after 21st June 2023 can use up to 30GB data from their plan while Roaming (each month) in our 50 destinations at no extra cost.’

I’m guessing that this applies to me as I am a new customer

Hey there @leanne_winter, as previously mentioned by my colleague, “From 1 October 2024 and until further notice, all customers can use their full UK data allowance in Roam Free destinations*, at no extra cost! We’ll notify you when the promotion ends and when the 30GB Roaming data limit is reinstated. More information can be found here. “

Therefore, as of right now, no one is capped at 30GB, and can use as much data as they have in their current allowances.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Where is the useage on the Bill this person asked? As that's what I want to see, how much I've used?

    And how much remaining?

I couldn’t find how much data I was using in real time from ID. However on an IPhone you can see how much data you have used in a specific period.

I went over 30gb a month in Europe (I was there for 3 months) and wasn’t charged extra

As of 1/10/24 there no 30GB cap, which is why you weren’t charged anything extra.
