I’m going to France & Spain 6th of August for 6 weeks to walk the Camino Le Puy. I have unlimited data and calls in the UK and want to know if I’ll get unlimited data in France & Spain?I’ve tried contacting chat support, but their replies are so vague, copied & pasted from somewhere. Can I or can I not use my unlimited data allowance for those 6 weeks?I’m thinking of buying an eSIM for the trip, but I don’t want to pay the extra money if I don’t need to.

What don’t you understand? Officially, there’s a 30GB roaming limit when using data abroad. However, from 1 October 2024 and until further notice, all customers can use their full UK data allowance in Roam Free destinations at no extra cost. Is it likely to change before the end of September? I don’t have a crystal ball, so I have no idea, and I doubt any of the frontline customer service agents do either. If it does, you will have a 30GBroaming limit when using data abroad.
