I have 2 ID mobile SIM cards, one is in my iPad & the other is in my mobile Myfi internet hub. In the uk they work as expected but when abroad they have no service.

yesterday I removed the sim from my Myfi hub & placed it into my iPhone where it worked perfectly, I made a phone call & watched a little YouTube just to be sure & all was well.

i then placed it back into my Myfi whe once again it gave me nothing, can someone help before I cancel both contracts please

Clearly the issue is with your device and not iD Mobile. Try manually selecting the network from within the Myfi device.

Hi Kash

I Still have the same issue of no internet on two devices, I have used these devices for many years with giffgaff SIM cards so I know that the advices are good. The issue is with this SIM cards and their settings.
as far as I am aware the APN settings are set correctly and roaming is enabled on both devices, I am currently on the Greek island of Kos and having to use the very scratchy hotel Wi-Fi.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hi there @12Reg34, sorry to hear that.

Please note, we only officially support the usage of our SIM cards in the listed handset devices on our website. Any devices that aren’t a handset and listed, we don’t officially support, so may or may not work.

Therefore, if your MyFi isn’t working abroad, then there’s not much we can advise in this situation as we don’t really have troubleshooting methods regarding this device, as we don’t officially support it. Therefore, if it does work, or work sometimes, then of course that’s great,.

However, if your phone is having issues connecting, then of course that’s an issue that we can investigate further.

What phone do you have please, and what APN settings are currently showing?

Thanks,

Tyler

Thank you all for your help & it would seem that the ID sim cards can not meet my needs, I will consider my options but I may have to switch to a different provider, sad but needs must be met.
