Recently i went for a short break in Norfolk UK.

Whilst there i was silly enough to use a seaside town and its beach.

This cost me 14.50 ROW charges as the network assumed i was in territorial waters, on a ship!!

My first interaction with My Id was unsuccessful and their only advice was to reduce my bill cap to £0.

Not happy, i persisted and only following a threat to go to the ombudsman did they refund the charge.

Moral is, DO NOT take the first NO as a final answer. Persist and ye shall persevere.

    Hey there ​@shawsy, we’re sorry to hear this, and we’re glad to hear this was rightfully refunded to yourself, and sincerely apologise for this happening. The future advice to set your bill cap to £0.00 would still be my best piece of advice to avoid any unwanted charges in the future, whether that’s for charges such as these, or other potential charges, as we’d simply block it from happening for you.
