Roam Beyond USA not working


I bought a £35 Roam beyond. 
Travelling as a lone female. 
It’s not working  - data roaming is on in phone and the app. 
Switched my phone on and off again etc. 

Advice please as I got this so as to feel less vulnerable when out and about, when not inside buildings with wifi

Have you tried restarting your phone and resetting network settings?

 

Secondly, what network are you connected to?

 

If you feel vulnerable at all and you can, we’d recomemend calling our vulnerable customers phone-line on 0800 049 2376.

Is there any update on this ? 
Still out in the USA having to travel between places for work and still without the data roaming that I paid for.

Private messaged several days ago giving the responses asked for. 
No reply. 
Not fixed. 
Still travelling on my own 
no connection. 
Getting texts from ID to say I am being charged extra for receiving texts. 
No confirmation that I will NOT be charged for the add on that I paid for. 

Anyone paying for this stuff and relying on it for safety please beware.

Thank you. 
I have been refunded the money that I paid for the add on. 
But there is no explanation as to why it didn’t work which is a concern when travelling again

The latest private message that I had said it was still being looked into. 
I have also been charged for roaming that I was forced to use when out and about because the add on didn’t work. I have asked for a refund.  
G3000 I would advise you to get a guarantee that it will work before you go as I was left totally high and dry for over 2 weeks.

I sent 1 text and was charged for it. After that just had to use my phone when on wi-fi.

The add ons available only apply to data so calls and texts will be charged. 

We would recommend taking a look at the charges here

If you have a spend cap, this would need to be raised to a suitable limit in order to use the service.
