If you wish to use data in USA, you can purchase a DATA ONLY add-on via the iD Mobile app/website for a select number of days/GB. Please find more here:

To use calls/texts regardless, you need to increase your bill cap via the iD Mobile app/website to allow charges to go through for them to work, and similarly for data if you don’t purchase an add-on above.
