roaming not working

I have roaming turned on both in the Id app and in my phone settings but roaming still not working? When going through settings my manual network selection  doesnt show iD as an option. Is this the problem? (Apple 11 Pro Max Phone)

    Thank you for getting in touch. 

    We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues whilst roaming.

    When you search for a network, you will be using one of the networks available for the country you are in so iD Mobile will not show as an option. 

    Can you please manually select one of the available networks and let us know if it connects?
