Roaming to Netherlands & Germany

Going away for 5 days soon. 1 day Netherlands & 4 days Germany. Not been abroad since switching to iD.

Any advice at all ? Seen some people have glitches.

Anything specific to do before I go ?

When I arrive ?

Fair usage ? How much, ?

probably going to use maps & WhatsApp a lot.

Hi @D-ice95

I’d recommend the same as @MZone above, as well as the following;

If you do notice any issues with networks whilst abroad, I’d recommend connecting to networks manually instead of using the default automatic network connection.

HI, thanks for advice.

Eventually I found the bill capping on the App in ‘Bills’ then ‘manage bill cap’.

I can't adjust the APN settings, looks like my iPhone 12 Pro Max can't receive OTA updates ?? That doesn't seem right. I was offered another menu, but it's way too confusing & don’t know what i’m meant to be changing.

The instructions online, seem to be using a different language to the App language & terminology, so thats making things trickier.

Still a bit confused.

APN settings for iPhone should be pre populated so wouldn’t worry too much about that and they are locked down on IPhone so you can’t amend them anyways.
