sim stopped working abroad

I am in Corfu and my phone ran out of charge. When I recharged it says No SIM. Everything was working fine previously.Tried switching phone off and back on again but it doesn’t make any difference

Have you tried getting help via the online Live Chat service - the iD advisors work until 8pm on weekdays.

Use a web browser and visit https://idmobile.co.uk/live-chat, or try sending iD a private message via Facebook Messenger.

The iD advisors work until 8pm on weekdays.

I’m sorry to hear that, have you tried resetting network settings with the iD Mobile SIM card inside to see if this helps?

 

For iPhone;

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

 

For most Android;

Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth

 

For Samsung; 

Settings > General management > Reset > Reset mobile network settings


Resetting network settings will NOT reset any personal data (Photos, Videos, Contacts etc) only network settings.

 

You’ll be able to turn the SIM card off in the settings which then can result in the SIM being completely disabled, however the device being turned off shouldn’t do this.
