Take care when close to a country that is not covered in your plan!

## set your bill capping to zero ##

I traveled to Southern Spain (roaming included) but on 1 day suddenly started to ‘use chargeable services whilst roaming’.

I did not receive a message to say that I was connected to Morocco! (not included in the plan).

I bought an add on for data guessing that this was the problem- but it was not.

I only realised what had happened once I had my bill

I was capped at £45 ? luckily

I have just dealt with an agent and can not receive a refund for services that I have used!

The main help given is to set bill capping to 0 when roaming- I wish I had known

Hey there @Sally AM, sorry to hear this. Indeed, if you connect to a nearby connection/country that’s not included in our inclusive EU roaming, you would be charged, as you’re no longer connected to the country where roaming is free. You were certainly advised correctly to lower, or better set your bill cap to £0.00 when going abroad to ensure you’re not charged for out of contract charges, and so it blocks you connecting to another network.

Thanks,

Tyler
