Takeaway Roaming Plan for use in the USA?

Hi. I'm planning on going to the USA in a few months and I hope to used my data plan when I get there. It seems that the 'Takeaway Roaming Plan' allows me to use my data plan in the USA. How do I get this? Is it included automatically or do I have to somehow change or upgrade my current plan to get this? Please advise. Thanks.
