phone number needed to order

This is a complaint that I can't make an order through the website without entering a phone number. However my existing phone isn't working - that is why I want to make an order. So it is a Catch 22 situation. Usually when you make online purchase elsewhere, an email address is sufficient for communication, but I suppose this is a phone company and it wants to use the phone.
