Conflicting fair usage policy statements on the same page - which one applies?

I have a monthly SIM (pre June 2023) and now need to buy a monthly SIM for a motorhome Wifi. I am totally confused about the fair usage policy as the iD page has two apparently conflicting statements - one that usage is unlimited and directly below it different limits depending on the date of contract https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/eu-roaming/fair-usage-policy I’m assuming/hoping the top statement applies but is it me and the fair usage policy seems to say two different things? Also, has anyone used an iD SIM for a motorhome Wifi - thoughts please? TIA

    Roaming in Turkey

I’m travelling to Turkey and looking at the Id mobile website looking at purchasing a ‘roam beyond’ add on (https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/add-ons#content-roam) to use my phone whilst there. However these only cover data and there is no information concerning buying add ons to cover calls or texts. I would expect an add on to be able to be purchased to enable me to use my phone as if at home and the lack of clarity is unhelpful, as the only information on call and text in Turkey is; https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/international-and-roaming-charges and surely Id cannot seriously expect you to pay these charges? Where is the option to be able to by an add on that covers calls, texts and data?

Bit confused by how to order a Pay As You Go sim

Hi, the iD mobile website says: “You can order an iD Pay As You Go SIM card online, over the phone, or at any Currys store.” I went into my local Currys last night and they told me that it wasn’t possible to get one in store, and that I’d have to go online, but I can’t see an option to just order/pay for a PAYG sim? https://www.idmobile.co.uk/sim-only-deals/pay-as-you-go Are these monthly prices, or are these just one offs? So, for example can I pay £6 for the 1GB package, and for one month get unlimited calls and texts and 1GB of data, but then cancel it for next month and then just start paying for what you use? And on that note, I can’t even find the pricing any more, my mum is on iD and I’m trying to sign up my nan too, but the only pricing page I can find is this and it’s way more expensive than what my mum is paying https://community.idmobile.co.uk/understanding%2Dmy%2Dbill%2D166/what%2Dare%2Dthe%2Ddifferent%2Dcharges%2Di%2Dmight%2Dsee%2Don%2Dmy%2Dbill%2D43938 Thank you

Probably one for Matthew T - broken iD page

So I was looking around the iD site and: Takes you to: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/legal/accessibility#specialisedPhones And the link within that paragraph links to: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/search?q=doro And shows coding only, no content or imagery {"paymPhones":[],"refurbishedPhones":[{"anchor":"View all Refurbished Phones","url":"\/shop\/phones\/pay-monthly\/refurbished#product_make=&sort=popularity-desc"}],"simfreePhones":[{"anchor":"View all Simfree Phones","url":"\/shop\/phones\/sim-free#product_make=&sort=popularity-desc"}],"accessories":[{"anchor":"View all Accesories","url":"\/shop\/mobile-phone-accessories#product_make=&sort=popularity-desc"}],"cms":[{"anchor":"Accessibility","url":"\/legal\/accessibility"},{"anchor":"4G-Calling | What is 4G calling?","url":"\/4g-calling"},{"anchor":"WiFi Calling | What Is WiFi Calling?","url":"\/help-and-advice\/wifi-calling"}],"accessorySearch":false,"refurbishedSearch":false,"simOnlyDeal":[]} Just thought I’d point it out

    camcel port in

You can not fulfil my order: the order you placed through www.carphonewarehouse.com has been accepted by the iD Mobile network, however not for the chosen handset and tariff combination that you have ordered. The iD Mobile network would be willing at this time to offer you one of their great sim only packages. but I requested a pac code to switch on 12/11/24. I no longer want to switch to iD mobile and want to cancel the port in.

Order not going through with Carphone Warehouse

Hi, I'm trying to order the Pixel 9 with the Pixel Buds Pro 2 promo contract through Carphone Warehouse but it keeps getting rejected with the following message: "The order you placed through www.carphonewarehouse.com has been accepted by the iD Mobile network, however not for the chosen handset and tariff combination that you have ordered. The iD Mobile network would be willing at this time to offer you one of their great sim only packages." Is this an issue on my side or a CPW issue? Thanks.

    Get your settings

Does this tool work? https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/get-your-settings/settings-tool I’m going through the process but its not sending me any notification. My problem is I cant send text message. Am getting MMS not supported by network. I’ve been through all the manual process and checked everything is correct. I was hoping if there is a glitch this tool might correct it. I have been through all the tips found on youtube regarding this problem but still unsolved.

Constant poor signal inside buildings - between Minus 113Mdb (at best) and Minus 136dBM (at worst), which is shockingly poor.

Please can you help improve the phone signal on my iphone. I have been on ID-mobile for two months now, i have Aspergers and i live alone, so its very important i have a decent phone signal, so i can phone people when i need to. even when i am in the gym which is close to my town centre i can’t get a phone signal in the gym either (even though i’m connected to their wifi and have wifi calling enabled, i get i missed calls when i leave the gym) but other people on the three network (which IDM runs on) have four bars in the gym. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help. Thank you. Additionally, NO, i don’t live in a castle, so its not thick walls that are stopping the signal from getting to my phone and the internal walls in the house are thin and even with internal doors open it makes no difference. Is there a signal booster that can be sent to me? I know other networks do a boosters that work with a broadband connection and put the calls through the broadband, but i don’t have broadband (

    lost phone

Hi For some reason, I don't have my son's phone registered to the account with the other two contracts I pay. He's lost his phone today, and I can't sort a replacement because I can't log into the account when it sends a text to a number we can't access with the phone missing. Please advise, Kindest regards, Claire

    No data in Keswick area

I have noticed over the past few months that although there is a good phone signal in the Keswick area there is no data (claims to be 4G). This appears to be whether you are on the north side or centre, you only get data when you get to the top of Nest Brow when you pick up the signal from Penrith.

eSIM for WhatsApp Business Account and Phone use

Hi,I’ve just had an unfruitful conversation using the Chat facility. I’m not sure they understood what I was asking which is fine but I’d like to find answers to the following before I sign up to 12-month eSIM plan. Many thanks for any help in advance.CheersNick Questions 1. I'm interested in a pay-monthly eSIM contract to use as a number for my WhatsApp Business Account, to send messages etc. Is this possible with this type of eSIM account? 2. My mobile, Google Pixel 8a, does support eSIMs but only has an EID set for SIM slot 1. My current personal number is on a EE pay monthly standard SIM in slot 1. I'm assuming that I would have to move the EE SIM to slot 2 then install the eSIM into Slot 1. If this is the case, will it cause issues with me taking and receiving calls with my Personal SIM in slot 2?
