I transferred to iD recently and have had nothing but problems. The porting took more than a week and I am now realising that there are more issues because when some people call me they get an ‘invalid number’ message. I’m so fed up - have never experienced an issue when switching between providers. Please help
Had problems with the port and deleted eSIM to get again. Requested a new eSIM and after 3 hours. Still no email, currently got no service. please advise
I have just phurxhaces a new phone with id mobile I want to switch my old number but its not letting me
I’ve just joined ID Mobile, last Thursday. During the setup process I was asked if I’d like to port my existing number, which I did. I filled in the details with the PAC Code etc. I received my new phone on Saturday but the contract summary states that no request was made to switch. I have tried once again to fill in the required details but was unable to do so. I have had no text or email verification that the porting is in progress. Help would be appreciated.
I ported over my number 6days ago. I can make and receive calls, but I’m unable to receive texts/ iMessages or use FaceTime. I’ve followed the instructions on the FAQ, I’ve contacted Apple support going over all the instructions regarding turning off iMessage FaceTime, rebooting then turning off and restarting. Also reset Network none of this has worked. Tried the chat app but robo chat going round in circles. This is so frustrating. There is nobody to talk to. Can anyone suggest something
Cannot receive calls or texts after moving from lebara, making calls and texts works, i have tried all the supports but nothing works, this is so urgent, ca not believe this is happening, to good to be true.… Please help, like i said ive tried everything stated in the help sections..
Have new phone with you and my phone no hasn’t ported. Had email to say it was but not worked. Any ideas ?

I’ve recently ported over from EE all seems to be fine apart from I’m not receiving mobile calls from EE numbers (my wife) or Vodaphone (sister in law) either not a bad thing but as I use my phone for work I really do need to be able to receive calls from any network. im lead to believe it could be a split port issue but I’m at a loss how to report it to ID or get any assistance.
Hi. I recently porting from EE to iD mobile and it is done. When i make a call, the correct number appears but when I texted, it is the original iD mobile number appeared. I am using Android Galaxy Note 20 5g. How to fix the problem?
My transfer to iD mobile was apparently completed on the 22nd March. At that point I was unable to make or receive calls or texts so the support team sent me a new SIM card and I did some troubleshooting steps. I can now make calls and send texts but not receive them - I believe this is called a split number port. I spent a while talking with a team member last week about this and they informed me they had passed the issue to the tech team. Today I tried to contact the iD team to get an update on this, after 45 minutes of a team member talking me through the same troubleshooting I had already done and ignoring all attempts from me to ask them to contact the tech team for an update, they finally checked my record and found no request to IT had been made. They then attempted to get me to do more troubleshooting so they could process the request, and provide evidence of the issue - I am not sure how I can evidence non-receipt of calls and texts, other than that I have received none since
Hi, I would want to change/port my number to a new number. I have tried using the system to port but its asking for transaction number. I would want to port to a new number and the current one with you turned into pay as go or sim only. How do I do this. I have the pac code ready. Also, does it means you don’t take calls. I normally just called my mobile provider and sort things out but there is no number to call or live chat. This is a new and very slow process. I hope I am safe joining this kind of provider
I recently left I'd as the coverage is poor in the area, I requested my PAC code and did the port to Lyca mobile ever since I can not receive SMS messages and can't make voice calls to some numbers (RCS messaging and internet seems ok and people seem to be able to call me) Have been told its a porting issue and I need to report it to the provider i have just left - i have reported it to Lyca mobile but 3 days in and no updates or progress - please help have health issues and not sure I am getting messages through from Doctor so it's pretty urgent
I’ve read through a wealth of people having the same problem but I don’t seem to be able to find an actual answer anywhere - to the point I’m close to throwing my phone at a brick wall. Last Friday (16th Aug), I took out a new contract with ID Mobile in store at Currys - This was for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I was previously with EE and have had Samsung phones for the past 12 or so years. Finally, yesterday, the number finished porting over and I am now receiving calls and texts absolutely fine. The device registers (and so does iCloud) that my phone number is the correct number that I have ported over. However, I do not seem to be able to receive OTPs from companys. I use 2FA across a lot of apps, the main one being my bank (Santander). I cannot log into the Santander app on my phone as I cannot receive the OTP. I also cannot log in on my PC/Laptop because there are 2 options - SMS OTP (which I can’t receive) and “Authenticate in the mobile app” which I cannot do because I can’t log in.
Took out a new contract this week and got a PAC number. When I try enter it to switch it says it has issues. The phone is arriving on Tuesday. Do I have to wait for the phone before I can switch?
I ported my number from Vodafone to iD on Tuesday (01/10/24), I’m able to make/receive phone calls and SMS texts but I’m still having problems getting iMessage and FaceTime to work. I have tried every trouble shooting solution; I’ve turned iMessage on/off several times, reset network settings, hard reset the phone, taken the SIM out and inserted it again and even erased and set the phone up again. iMessage and FaceTime both work with my iCloud email address, but it is SO frustrating not being able to use my phone number. I rely on iMessage a lot for both business and personal. I spoke to Apple who said that the carrier is the issue and there’s nothing more they could do that I hadn’t already tried, I’m inclined to believe them because iMessage/Facetime are working with my email address I have contacted iD who have advised to get a new SIM card, I’ll be doing that later today but does anyone have anything else I could try in the meantime? Thank you!
Recently changed from 3 to iD Mobile, porting my number. I am using an iPhone 12. I have set up voicemail and it is very erratic. I am missing calls, which go straight to voicemail. Just now I got the text advising receipt of a voicemail, but cannot connect when dialling the voicemail number so cannot get to the message. However I can make other calls. Voicemail number auto sets on +447782333123. I have tried a soft re-set on the phone, toggling Airplane mode, toggling WI-FI calling, taking out and reinserting the SIM card, but no luck. Help please!
Hi all, I've recently got an ID monthly contract SIM, I got my PAC code from my last provider (virgin) and imputed it on the id web page so I could keep my old number. My old number ported over to the new ID SIM on Tuesday as I requested, I can make and receive phone calls and texts to my old number as expected but when I send a text it goes via the number that came with the SIM. Can anyone help with this problem as I'm not sure what's gone wrong. Thanks.
My number was due to port 5days ago. I can make outgoing calls and texts but not recieve any calls or texts. I have been on live chat every day since and it still has not worked. The problem is with port in, and it has apparently been escalated by the technical team. I need my number for work and this is taking too long. A big problem as well, is the lack if communication from ID, I have to live chat for about 45 minutes each day. It’s a new i phone and now i message is also not working after being told to reset some settings yesterday. If I could get any further advice it would be welcome. Ok
I switched to ID on 20 June and provided a PAC code to port my number in. Everything in the settings appears to indicate this has successfully taken place. However I’m unable to make or receive calls or text messages. When someone calls my number, it appears to connect from their phone and eventually goes to answer phone. But there is nothing coming through to my phone, ie it’s not ringing and there’s no missed call. I am unable to make any outgoing calls.
Hi im looking for advice from anyone that has had similar issue please. I ported my sons number from Smarty to ID on Friday and since its ported he can’t receive calls or texts (working fine before) The message caller gets when they try call is the number is not recognised. He can make calls and send sms texts fine. This issue has only happened since his number ported. I've spent 2 days online chatting with agents checking settings etc, all are fine. I picked up new sim from curry's to try and the problem still persists. Even when I insert the replacement sim into his old handset it doesn't work but other sims work fine in both handsets so issue must be down to the port or network as I've ruled out sim issue, setting issues and handset. He cannot access banking apps as needs text verification and this is very frustrating. Even more frustrating is the fact that you cannot speak to anyone at Id mobile, all done through web chat. Any help or advise would be much appreciated
Hiya Have ported many times over the years from various providers with no issues….. Moved 2 days ago from GiffGaff to ID Mobile with new phone. Old phone (with GG sim) still says ‘Giffgaff’ as network and SIM says my number although functionality lost - cant phone out, text, etc so something has worked. New phone (with ID Mobile SIM) absolutely fine and works and everything OK. Why is my old SIM showing GiffGaff still? I have phoned GG and they say I am not on their system anymore etc etc and as far as they are concerned, it has all gone through. ID Mobile say nothing wrong their end because it clearly all works (which it does). Why am I concerned? Should I just cut the GG sim up and assume its all gone through fine? I am concerned as to why my GG sim still shows it as a network signal?!????? Hopefully someone can help! (Ironically, this is also the same for my mum who has moved across as well the past 2 days from GG to ID) Thanks DEJB
I changed over from EE to a new ID Mobile account with e-sim. all went well for first day or two until the actual porting date. Was receiving calls and texts on the number I ported over from EE. Now, suddenly, there is no ID Mobile signal to be had on my new iPhone. I see other people have recently reported this problem and have struggled to find a solution. tried all the usual things like turning phone off and on etc.
Just wondered if anyone has had similar problems. Signed up for ID Mobile last week. I was assured everything would be seamless. It seems there's a different definition of 'seamless' in ID Mobile land! The sign up - no problem The PAC milarkey was all done The new sim arrived the next day and I did as instructed i. e. Take out the old sim, put it in the new one..... Nice and simple. Now the fun starts! Turn the phone on and I have a new number. No one is answering my calls as they don't recognise my number. I'm sending texts but they are from the new number. Friends and family have no idea what's going on. Neither have I as I'm not the one receiving the calls/texts. ID Mobile then tell me my switch over date is 4 days time. The old sim goes back in and I wait. On switch over day nothing happens all day until 7pm. By now I'm messaging IDM. I'm assured everything will be wonderful once the switch is done. 7pm and we switch! All is fine EXCEPT text messages are still showing as coming fro
