Why do I suddenly have no signal?

I have seen other questions about this but they didn't answer this question. I suddenly have no signal at home. My signal here is usually good. There is no extreme weather, there are no outages showing on the appropriate web page, and my partner, in the same room, who is also on ID Mobile, is having no issues. I have restarted the phone. I have not changed anything or damaged the phone. It's a Sony Xperia XQ-AU51. Please help me to fix this and prevent it, or tell me how to contact actual people to help...! Thanks if you can.

    What is Spam or Phishing?

Phishing is a cyber-attack where criminals impersonate trusted sources, like banks or HMRC, to steal your personal or financial information or infect your device with malware. Spam refers to unwanted SMS or junk emails often sent with malicious intent. Both phishing and spam can occur through text, email, or phone calls. Remember, iD Mobile will neve r send an SMS with a short URL or ask you to make a payment through a link. We always provide secure payment options through the iD Mobile app or My Account online, where you can check for any outstanding payments. Why Does Phishing Exist? Phishing exists because it’s an easy and effective way for cybercriminals to steal valuable information and money. It requires minimal technical skill and can target thousands of people simultaneously by creating messages that appear legitimate and play on fear and urgency. The low cost and high reward make it an attractive method for scammers. Who Do Attackers Pretend to Be? Attackers often use the iden

    Login 'OAuth Error' message.....

Hi All, So tonight I tried to login to my account to download my bill (using a saved shortcut link that has previously worked) and when I clicked ‘next’ with my saved email address it went to the password page and then I added my password (from my Google saved passwords) and clicked ‘Log In’ and it gave me this error message (it took ~20secs between ‘log in’ and adding password) 🤔 I even tried it via a Google ‘iD Mobile Login’ search (other search engines are available 😁) adding my email and password manually and the same thing happened 😤The only way I could log in was via a link sent in an Email from iD Mobile 🤷🏻What’s going on?!?!?Anyone else had the same problem??All advice is welcome! x

    switched numbers

I'm struggling to sort out my number. I have switched my number via a pac code but the number issued by ID is showing on text messages. If I turn off rcs messages then it uses my correct number but left on ot defaults to the sim number. I've tried changing the number on settings but it defaults back to the wrong one. Please can someone tell me what else I can try?

Where is the list of roaming partner networks by country?

I’ve been searching in vain for information about which partner network(s) ID uses in each country. All questions about roaming generate multiple answers concerning how to enable roaming, how much it will cost and what packages are available to control costs, but very little about which networks are going to be used in the destination country. This matters because in remote or mountainous areas, not all networks that operate in the country are likely to have coverage. I have encountered this in the Austrian Tirol for example. So before going abroad I want to know which partner network I am likely to connect to and look up the coverage map to assure myself that it will work. Does anyone know where a table of partner networks by country is available, both for ID and for any other operator from whom I might buy a PAYG ESIM?

PLEASE help me! New SIM & approved phone - Can't make or receive calls

Hi all 👋 I know this has been asked a lot and I apologise for adding yet another post but I can’t find a definitive answer and I am so depressed over this😢So, please can you just take a minute or two to read through my post to see if you can help 🙏🏻 My phone is a SAMSUNG GALAXY J4+ (2018) Model: SM-J415FN I have just swapped from SMARTY Mobile (to iD) as they did not ‘support’ my phone model and because of this I was unable to receive or make calls as I had no VoLTE/4G calling support (3G got switched off here in the Midlands at the end of April) although I could still send/receive texts and use data. I did contact their web chat who suggested a replacement SIM but when I got one I still had the same problem. So, before I moved over I checked the iD ‘Approved phones’ list and my device was on there YAY🎉!!!!! Unfortunately, since swapping over (Wed 15/04/24) I still can’t make or receive calls as the phone says ’calling’ but doesn’t ‘ring’ and doesn’t connect 😤 (I rang my home phon

    App improvement

Hi. I'm quite happy with my service on ID mobile but the only thing that let's it down is the app. I used to be with smarty and their app is much better. You can also see how much data every month which is handy. Perhaps a future upgrade could introduce this handy feature?

"Sorry, your service does not allow access to this number"

When you search on here, this seems to be a top issue. All issues eventually have a “this has all been sorted, please reboot your phone” Clearly this is a known fault on this network. Online chat have had me checking all settings, resetting settings and changing sims into another phone. Don’t waste your time doing this, ITS NOT YOU PHONE. its been over 24 hrs now and as I was going round and round on the chat, I really wanted to talk to someone. I call complaints, what more waste of time, 51 minutes. Apparently technical are looking at it and it can take 24 to 48 hrs. this was only sent to technical as I called back this morning as I was told there were service issues in my area and it would be resolved after midnight. Guess what…. it wasn’t. I then had to wait until 9am for online chat to open. Out of the 3 people I have spoken to, its would seem this is a new thing. Please search here, its happened to many people. My point for writing this was to try and save anyone the hours I have,

    How much data left?

I’m currently abroad and have got roaming set up, but want to check how much data I’ve used. The app displays 194.7GB/100GB. What is this telling me? That I’ve used 94.7 extra outside of my plan? Is there any way of seeing how much I’ve used while abroad?

Found a Particle Under Camera Glass on My New Honor Magic 7 Pro - What Should I Do?

Hey everyone, I just got a new Honor Magic 7 Pro on a contract, and I recently noticed a small particle under the camera glass. I've checked carefully, and it's definitely inside, not just dust on the surface. Since this phone is IP69-rated, I wasn't expecting anything to get inside the sealed camera module. Has anyone else experienced this issue with Honor phones or any other flagship devices? Since I got it through a contract, do you think the retailer/ carrier will replace it, or will they try to send it for repair? I'd prefer a replacement since the phone is brand new. I'm still within the 14 days return window. I bought from the idmobile website and it's not a scratch, if you look from different angles you can see the particle. Appreciate any advice on how to handle this!

where to check for any search restrictions on account

I hope someone can be of assistance, I an unable to access certain websites when searching using my data yet can access the sites perfectly when using WiFi, it is as if search restrictions are on my account without my permission. Where do I go to on the app to check if any restrictions have been switched on without my knowing? Has anyone experienced any similar issues? I am a new ID mobile customer and haven’t experienced this issue with my previous network provider.
