Cancel my contract

I am within 14 days of starting my contract and wish to cancel because my phone is not making or receiving any calls.

However I received a text telling me:

Hi CHRISTOPHER, your estimated final bill will be £174.17 if you choose to end your plan today. This consists of the line rental for the remaining months of your contract (if any) and any billed amount, but excludes any unbilled usage. You can cancel your plan in the iD Mobile app. For more info about cancelling your plan, visit idmobile.co.uk/ret-canc. For detailed switching info, visit idmobile.co.uk/paymswitching or check your email. Please contact us at idmobile.co.uk/contact-us if you require information sent by post.

How can this be when I am within 14 days of starting my contract?

Okay @MDCQ, you’d need to get a returns transaction number to end your contract in the cooling off period. Doing anything else will be treated as a cancellation.
