Close an account without SIM or access to nline account


My ex husband got a new phone for my daughter (several years ago) and made a hash of closing the ID account and transferring the number so it never happened. She had a new number and a contract with a new provider. Money was paid to ID for a very long time for nothing as the old number was not being used and it hadn’t been cancelled either. I set the account up for my daughter so it is my details although it was paid for from a joint account that only he (my ex) uses. Well he no longer pays anything into that account so ID were not being paid and they are chasing me (well emailing my daughter which she has only just told me about!) I need the to close the account ASAP but we no longer have the SIM and cannot access the account. I have created this as I also have an ID account. Trying to get anything done is an absolute nightmare. I’m going around in circles. Please help!
