complicated connection issues


I signs up to iD months and months ago when living abroad- mostly to keep my UK number active and to receive confirmation text codes from the sort of accounts that ask for them…

Annoyingly, I never managed to get the texts to come through or the iD number to work while abroad. I’m now back in the U.K. for a few weeks so hoped to solve the problem.

However, I’ve now realised that I can’t connect at all and it isn’t about being abroad. I’ve followed all the advice I can online- other sim switched off, iD the preferred network etc.

I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro, iOS is up to date.

what am I missing? Can I cancel iD if never used (as unable!)

Hey there ​@Hannahlubella, sorry to hear this. Is the iD Mobile SIM card set as the primary SIM card?

 

Have you tried resetting network settings?

 

Have you used the SIM card in the UK previously and before going abroad?
