I can't make n receive calls now. It's nearly a month n all the days and time spend to rectify it was stressful.

Tell me how to get out of this id contract n moved back to my previous network provider.

Hi @Charles3000  @chmc7462

You don’t ‘need’ to purchase new phones you just need to be able to connect to the LTE network.@Charles3000  the picture you attached to your post shows that your phone is not ‘provisioned’ to connect to the VoLTE network (even though it has the ability to do so). You don’t say what phone you have but an internet search on ‘how’ to provision you phone should give you the answers you need.

@chmc7462 have you tried…. ‘Press the settings icon. Press SIM card & mobile data. Press the required SIM. Press the indicator next to "VoLTE Calls" to turn the function on or off’.
If you have tried this and there is no option for it then you also need to provision your phone to connect to the LTE network. Again, an internet search should give the answers you need.

PLEASE be aware that unless your handsets have this option available then it is more than likely, even if you do change networks, that you will still not be able to enable VoLTE and therefore still not be able to make/receive calls.
This problem is all down to the network that controls the firmware updates to your phone, which enables VoLTE/WiFi Calling and available to use. Once your phone is free from this control then you can connect to any network you want.
I replied to a post, with regards to the same problem, for a Samsung Galaxy phone. Hopefully, some of the information will clarify the situation.

Hello mate,

I have the same problem. I can't make and receive any calls. I tried to contact ID mobile customer service couple of times. They suggested that I need to buy a new phone from ID mobile approved list so now I opened a piggy bank.

Apperntly tou need to have Volte Option to make calls through 4G because they removed 3G service

I hope it helps but its really bad.

Kind regards,

Charles

Don’t know what type of phone you have/if this is a new contract, but I’ve just had the same issue with my new iPhone, solved by checking my checking my number was in settings > phone > my number.
This was blank, and filling it in immediately solved the issue.

Try all the options. Even my phone passed their phone list. I can't switch it on. My phone shows that it's updated.

It's really not our fault. Mine phoned is working perfectly but they can't force us to purchase another expensive new phone. They should remind us before taking out their contract After 2 months suddenly we can't used their phone service. I think they either compensate us or let us leave if we don't warn to upgrade our phone

Yes you're absolutely right mate.

They're trying to sell their expensive phones!!! I think it's disgusting practice!!!

Me too I tried everything with my phone but because of Android 10 upgrade my Volte switch is not working.

I am still unable to receive n calling. Only emergency calls. The indoor internet is extremely weak.

I don't think it is right to force us to use id compatible phone. We signed the contract and you provide the service. But services doesn't work with our phone.

Please allow us to cancel the contract and lets us move to others network provider.

In the meantime, I will seek further help from the fair trade advisor.

Thank you for your reply @chmc7462

We are very sorry you feel this way. All networks will be switching off 3G in the future, when this happens depends on the network.

On checking, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro is on the compatible handset list.

Have you checked your settings using the instructions on the link I previously provided?

Thanks,

Nat
