I want to cancel a sim order and cancel my account


I have recently joined id mobile and have received my sim and everthing went ok so I ordered another sim card for my wife but forgot to add her pac code. I have been trying most of the day to add it but cannot get past the chat who will not accept that my wife was messaging them to ask them to apply the pac code. Through this experience I have now decided that ID mobile is NOT the servive provider I expected and wish to cancel both accounts but can't even find out how to do that on their website so I am hoping I can find the answer here please🙏. Can I just cancel both direct debits?

It’s a simple question and a rather simple process…

Where did you make your purchase from?

It gives you three options to choose from…

iD Mobile Website | Curry’s Store | Curry’s Website

You pick the one that’s relevant to you!

Once you make your selection you are asked another simple question…

Are you within your returns window?

Again, It gives you two options to choose from…

I'm within the returns window | I'm outside the returns window

Again, You pick the one that’s relevant to you!

etc, etc, etc…

So, for example, if you purchased a SIM-only plan from iD Mobile's website and were outside the returns window, you will choose iD Mobile Website, I’m outside the returns window, SIM only, which returns the following instructions on how to cancel…

It's easy to cancel in the iD Mobile app

Simply log in, go to the 'My account' page, and on the 'Manage my plan' tile click 'End my plan'. Please be aware that we need at least 30 day’s notice before your contract ends*. You can keep using your SIM as a Pay As You Go SIM card, or cut it up once you’ve cancelled your plan.

If your within the returns window you need to chat with iD Mobile. iD Mobile Live Chat is open between 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays.

Just make sure that you log out of your iD Mobile Community account before clicking on the link above, or you will get an error message.

Many thanks for the simplyfied explanation which I followed exactly but at the end of it all I was transfered back to the chat which was a different person again and I had to repeat everything again and again and after 40 minutes or so of repeating I gave up so I am going to use the sims for the month and cancel

Hi Tyler, I have decided to try id mobile for one month to see how it goes and then if I am still having customer service issues I will leave then. Hopefully it will work out🤞🤞🤞

I REALLY need someone's help as an id mobile agent REALLY cocked up my wife's number😡. I gave all my wife's information to an id agent and after about another 40 minutes on the chat trying to explain what should have been a very easy transaction he mixed my number up with my wifes so I kindly asked him to leave everything as it was as he clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing. I asked if he had cancelled anything as he confirmed everything was as it was so I informed him I would wait until my wife's sim arrived and when I put her sim into her phone I tried to do the switch using her pac code......However, I kept getting an error message saying there was a problem so my wife contacted another id mobile agent who said her existing number ( The one I said she needed to keep) has been ported to another number!!!. After another 30 agonising minutes explainingvall this to the agent she told my wife to get me to sign into my id account and ask customer service what has happened and guess what....yep, they can't talk to me as it's my wife's account😡 So at the end of it all I gave up and I am now so stressed I have another MASSIVE headache🤷‍♂️
