I have recently been a victim of identity fraud and have had an account set up in my name. All direct debits have been cancelled, and the police are involved, but i need the account terminated. I tried reporting via your online form, but got no response.

Hi, I have this same issue - someone has set up an account in my name and I get emails with bills. I have had a very frustrating time with your your livechat today, who said they couldn’t find the account that had been set up in my name so they couldn’t help. Very unhelpful.

I had this exact same issue with ID mobile two years ago where I suddenly started getting monthly bills for a mobile contract that I had not set up but was in my name and using my email address. I got a Crime Reference Number and then was told by ID mobile that the account was closed. BUT yesterday, I then received another email from ID Mobile with a monthly balance for the same account.

As I said, the livechat guys could not help  - they couldn’t even find details of the last fraud issue I had when I gave the reference number and it doesn’t seem like there is a human working at ID Mobile that is willing to talk. What can I do?
