Don’t go anywhere near this company. The customer service chat line is a joke they just disappear mid sentence. I have had a contract for a eSIM with them for a few weeks. Initially ok then problems with voicemail. Then even with voicemail turned off if people rang me me it would ring a few times and say to caller incorrect number, even though my iPhone 15 recognised the caller. Then today I was told to install a new eSIM I did this and received a text saying it’s was activated and ready to go. No it hasn’t worked and now I have no mobile. My daughter is pregnant and I rely on my mobile for contact. ID I want a pac code and a refund and for you to terminate my contract. So I have to wait 3 days with no mobile while complaints investigate, absolute joke.
poor chat from ID with no answers

Hi
This is a CUSTOMER forum and so unless an iD Mobile employee sees this post then you won’t get an response from them.
Here are some suggestions from an internet search with regards to your problem:-
If callers are receiving an incorrect number from your iPhone 15, it's likely a problem with how your phone is displaying or sending your number. Here's how to troubleshoot:
1. Check and Update Your Number:
- Go to Settings > Phone > My Number and make sure the displayed number is correct. For a UK number it needs to be in the format of +447……. and not 07……...
- If it's incorrect, update it manually and save the changes.
2. Reset Network Settings:
- Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- This will reset your network settings to their default, which can help resolve issues with how your phone is communicating.
3. Sign Out and Back Into iMessage and FaceTime:
- This can sometimes resolve issues with how your phone is displaying your number when calling or texting.
4. Manually Update Your Number in Contacts:
- If you've changed your number or are experiencing issues with contacts, you may need to update your number manually in your contacts.
- Go to Contacts and edit each contact's information to ensure the correct number is listed.
5. Check Your Carrier Settings:
- If the issue persists, contact your mobile carrier to ensure there are no issues with your account or network settings.
6. Consider Resetting Your Phone (If Necessary):
- As a last resort, you can try resetting your iPhone to factory settings (be sure to back up your data first).
Important Considerations:
-
Dial Assist:
Some users have reported issues with the "Dial Assist" feature in iOS causing incorrect country codes to be assigned to phone numbers. If this is the case, you may need to manually update your contacts to include the correct country code.
-
eSIM Issues:
If you're using an eSIM, there may be issues with how your phone is accessing or displaying your number. You can try deleting and reissuing your eSIM or contacting your carrier for assistance.
-
VoIP Issues:
If you're using a VoIP system, you might need to adjust your settings to ensure your number is correctly displayed.
Good luck x
