I'm thinking of terminating my contract with id early, but then getting a new phone and contract with id. Will I be able to keep my same number?

You can’t port from iD to iD. You would need to port to another network PAYG SIM first and then port back to the new iD SIM. If you terminate early you may be subject to early termination fee also.

    Hi ​@Holtham  as ​@MZone  has advised, you  would need to complete what is known as a triangular port (out to PAYG and then back into iD).
