Worst phone provider!!


I have had nothing but problems with my phone. From day one it won’t let me message certain people. My neighbour is 90 & she relies on me messaging her.

It’s hit & miss with phone calls. I had a new sim, spoke to team members. The last team member asked for this payment on the phone. I have tried 3 times to sort this problem out. I’m contacting the Financial ombudsman to take this further. I want to return the handset & sim . Please privately message me an email for me to send all of this information too

I was on the phone to the team member, when the message came up. Basically I had said I wanted a new phone & sim - these never arrived. He said I had to authorise the payment above. To food panda!!!

Those failed text messages are to a Samsung. 
9 times out of 10 I. Ant make calls, it’s been like this since day one of having the phone. I took it into curry’s & they didn’t understand why?

Yes it was an ID employee as they knew all of my details.

And the team member said I Sam see you’ve already logged a call. Very suspect that you don’t speak to people directly on a telephone or have an email. You don’t know who you are chatting too on line

PKR is Pakistani Rupees - Sounds like somebody is trying to SCAM YOU!!!

 

What number are you calling?

Or if they instigated the call what’s their number?

Did you call our complaints or vulnerable customers phone-line please?

 

We are predominantly an online only business, and we can help online the same we can over the phone. As long as you verify and check that you’ve reached out to a correct iD Mobile live-chat or social media page for example, then it will be iD Mobile staff there to help, no one else.

 

What was the last thing mentioned to you from any team regarding this, did they say they’d get back in touch?

 

We wouldn’t ask for payment over the phone, or send a text such as that.

I requested a call back & that’s what where they said they were calling from. Who was I to question it?

it was definitely someone from this site. It’s really really dodgy

i have the proof of all the issues since I started my contract.

I demanded a new phone & sim as this one is daily & they said I would need to send a deposit that will be refunded once they receive my old phone back. That’s why he asked for me to approve payment

Because there’s no number to telephone or email to contact with issues, you have to request a call. It’s leaving customers wide open

Was this via the Private Message facility on this site?

And if it was, was their name showing as xxxxx with iD Mobile Employee in black text next to their name?

 

I’m guessing the first Q was yes and the 2nd Q was no I’m afraid to say

Just a tip, but you won’t get very far with the financial ombudsman - it’s the communications ombudsman for phone contracts.

Did you make contact with somebody via the Private Message facility on this forum. If you did did that person have iD Mobile, with either employee, manager or support after this? ie Billy iD Mobile employee

 

Honestly I share your concerns. There should be a phone number we can call, more so when a suspected Fraud or Scam is taking place.

The only other advice I can offer is to make contact with iD via their live chat facility

Start the conversation with the word Fraud and this should put you straight to the correct team.

Live Chat is available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am - 6pm Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays.
