What information is on my bill?

Your bill is refreshed every month, on the day of the month you started your plan. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:

 

What information is on my bill?

 

Your bill is split into easy-to-understand sections. Check out a sample below:

 

1. Your Details.

  • Invoice date:The date your bill was generated.
  • Account number:Your unique account reference. Please quote this number when contacting us about your account.
  • Your allowances:Your standard monthly allowance of minutes, texts and data.
  • Invoice number:The unique reference for your bill. Please quote this number if you contact us witha billing query.
  • Your details:The name, billing address and mobile number of the account holder.

 

2.Invoice Summary.

  • Monthly recurring charge:Your agreed monthly line rental. This will remain the same unless you change your plan.
  • UK:Charges for UK-based services for this billing period. For more details, check your bill breakdown.
  • Non-Geographic Calls:Charges for calls to 08, 09, and 118 service numbers. These costs include an Access Charge of 45p and a Service Charge set by the organisation you're calling. For more details, visit iD Mobile Call Charges page or UK Calling. For more details, check your bill breakdown.
  • Add-on:Charges for any Minutes or Data Add-ons you purchase for this billing period.
  • EU Roaming:Out-of-bundle charges for calling, texting, or using data within our 50 Roam Free destinations. For more details, check your bill breakdown.
  • Rest of World Roaming:Charges for calling, texting, or using data when roaming outside our 50 Roam Free destinations.For more details, check your bill breakdown.
  • International:Charges for calls or texts abroad from the UK. For more details, check your bill breakdown.
  • Total charges for this month:Your total charges for this billing period, including line rental and any out-of-bundle charges.

 

Please note: In some instances, you may see a ‘Miscellaneous’ charge on your account. You can find the details for this on Page 3 of your bill.

 

3. Account Summary.

  • Balance from your previous invoice:The total outstanding amount you need to pay, including any previous bills, late payment fees, and additional charges. For more information, visit our call charges page.

 

4.Total amount due.

  • Total amount due:The total outstanding amount for this billing period. This includes your line rental, any extra charges, and any outstanding payments.

 

5. Your allowances.

  • Your allowances:This is a breakdown of how you've used your standard monthly allowances. Your 'Data Rollover' details are also included here. You'll see the amount of data you've rolled over from last month, and the data you're rolling into next month.

 

6. Your invoice breakdown.

  • UK:These are your UK-based charges for this billing period.
  • Mobile, National & Local Calls:A breakdown of all your mobile calls for this billing period, including the date, call duration, and cost (if any).
  • Non-Geographic Calls:A breakdown of calls to 08, 09, and 118 service numbers.
  • Text Messaging:A breakdown of all your SMS messages sent for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost (if any).
  • Multimedia Messaging Service:A breakdown of all your MMS messages sent for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost.
  • Mobile Internet Browsing:A breakdown of your data usage for this billing period, including the date, volume, and cost (if any).

 


  • EU - European:These are your EU-based charges for this billing period.
  • Calls:A breakdown of all your mobile calls made in the EU for this billing period, including the date, call duration, and cost (if any).
  • Text Messaging:A breakdown of all your SMS messages sent in the EU for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost (if any).
  • Multimedia Messaging Service:A breakdown of all your MMS messages sent in the EU for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost.
  • Mobile Internet Browsing:A breakdown of your data usage in the EU for this billing period, including the date, volume, and cost (if any). If you are surcharged for any EU data usage, this will also appear here.

 


  • ROW - Rest of the World:These are your Rest of World based charges for this billing period.
  • Calls:A breakdown of all your mobile calls made in a Rest of World destination for this billing period, including the date, call duration, and cost.
  • Text Messaging:A breakdown of all your SMS messages sent in a Rest of World destination for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost.
  • Multimedia Messaging Service:A breakdown of all your MMS messages sent in a Rest of World destination for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost.
  • Mobile Internet Browsing:A breakdown of your data usage in a Rest of World destination for this billing period, including the date, volume, and cost.

 


  • INT - International:These are your International based charges for this billing period.
  • International Calls:A breakdown of all your mobile calls made abroad from the UK for this billing period, including the date, call duration, and cost.
  • International Text Messages:A breakdown of all your SMS messages sent abroad from the UK for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost.
  • International Multimedia Messaging Service:A breakdown of all your MMS messages sent abroad from the UK for this billing period, including the date, time, and cost.
