Google Pixel 5 - can't use Wi-Fi calling at home

Recently got a pixel 5. I have enabled the WiFi calling feature under the call setting. However it doesn't appear to be connecting. Tried switching airplane mode on and multiple resets. Software is all up to date

Am I missing something here?

Hi @Physicsfool, it’s usually a permissions or security setting, such as a firewall configuration or port forwarding issue. If it works at your workplace but not at home, I’d recommend getting in touch with your Internet Service Provider to see if they can assist.

Thank you,

Rory

Hi @Physicsfool,

I’m just wondering if you have had a chance to try this on another WiFi network since your writing post? Often, we find that it is down to the WiFi connection on offer as to whether it connects or not.

Hi Ryan,

It shows wifi calling at my work but not on my home network. Home network worked fine on my last EE contract.

What is it about the wifi network that determines whether it works or not?

Regards
