Hi

Just started with an eSim.

The blurb says you get 2 numbers - how do I access the second number?

Thanks.

Hi there @sjwsjw

Are you 100% sure it stated that? And if it does can you post a copy of it up?

Having a physical SIM and also an eSIM

allows you to have two active numbers and seamlessly switch between them

Hi @sjwsjw

I’m not sure we would advise that purchase of 1 eSIM would give 2 numbers, it certainly doesn’t do that.

It does mean you could use a physical SIM and an eSIM alongside each other, meaning you could have 2 numbers at the same time, but not 2 numbers from the same SIM.

Thanks for the replies. So I realise I misread the ads, but they’re a little unclear on that point IMO…

Yes I can see how you came to that conclusion and thanks for posting that up!👍

Maybe it should read:

You can have two active numbers, whether that be two physical SIMs, or one SIM and one eSIM, or (phone dependent) two eSIMs, and with two active numbers you can seamlessly switch between them. And by using at least one eSIM, thus less physical SIMs means less plastic in circulation - a win for the environment.

But not to worry, still saving £20/month on my old contract :-)

Hey there @sjwsjw, we’re glad you managed to work it out, and sorry for any confusion on our part, and thank you for your support @Daz_S.

Hope you both have a great day!

Thanks,
