Kindly note that the account ownership cannot be changed, as the credit check was completed using the account holder's details. This means that if your son would like to have an account in his name, he would need to apply for a contract using his own name and details.

I am in a similar situation. Will they be able to keep the number when opening a new contract with ID?

Thank you for reaching out, however I am sorry as the system does not allow us to port internally. You can however transfer from a different network to our network or transfer from our network to a different network. The only way to keep your number with iD mobile is to do an upgrade from your old contract which will convert to a new one keeping your old number.
