Now that iD Mobile have set up a new ‘My Account’ system, is it possible to delete an iD Mobile account which has no airtime plan associated with it?

All iD Mobile contracts will have a plan attached to them which means that you need to request a disconnection if you wish to cancel.

Sorry for the delay in responding to your message.
I do have at least one iD Mobile account which has no mobile number associated with it. I can log in to it with an email address, but the system then asks for an iD Mobile Phone Number, Last Name, and Date of Birth in order to add a plan to the account.
I don’t have a plan to add to this account, so I am asking if the entire account associated with a particular email address but having no plan can be deleted?

If there is an account set up, this would mean a number is associated with it.
We would need to take a closer look so would ask that you reach out to the Live Chat team here.
They will be able to locate the account and arrange a disconnection if required.

Before I get in touch with the Live Chat Team, I just wanted to give you an example of what I mean.
This is an example of an account I set up with the email address without then adding an iD Mobile number.
As you can see from the attachments, after I enter the email address, the system asks for my password.
After entering the password, I get a ‘Login success’ message, and I am asked to enter an iD Mobile number.
Clicking on the ‘Add an iD Mobile number’ button then brings up a page entitled ‘Add your iD Mobile number?’
So it seems that this is indeed an iD Mobile account that exists without an associated iD Mobile number.
It is this account (and one other with a different email address) that I would like to be deleted.

It looks like you’ll need to register.
Please contact the Live Chat Team and they can remove the account so that you can re-register.
