eSim set up abroad

My wife and I have identical Samsung S21 Ultra phones. We're from the UK but currently in the US and we've got 2 x eSims from ID Mobile ready for when we arrive home next week. I've downloaded the app and set my phone up with no problem, however my wife's phone is not accepting text messages (for verification on the app). I've checked she's on roaming, I've also set the eSim as default for phone calls, messages and data, I've also checked all settings are similar to mine, but she still can't get a text. 

Can anyone help please?

We are sorry to hear your wife is experiencing this issue. 

Can you please confirm if she is experiencing problems with data/texts? 

Does she have a spend cap in place that might be preventing receiving texts as this would be charged?

Hi Nat

Thank you for the reply. We do not have any spending caps on our new accounts. As mentioned, we are currently in the United States and flying home on Thursday. My Samsung S21 Ultra ID Mobile App was verified ok, but my wife's Samsung S21 Ultra wasn't as for some reason she can receive any texts. When we arrive in the UK on Thursday morning, we will re-try.

So we just arrived back in the UK this morning and managed to send messages on my wife's phone and set up my her App account. 

Must have been something in the roaming (even though it was enabled). 

All good now, thanks for your help.
