Issues after porting number over to iD

I have some issues after switching from Three to iD. My son was struggling to send messages to me using my phone number that I got ported over from Three. None of them come through. I've just sent a text message to him and it came through under the old number that iD originally provided with the SIM card, and not my poetes number. 

 

How can I get this sorted? I have no idea if this is an isolated case or if other people have struggled too.

The provisional iD number tends to be retained by the phone when the iD SIM is inserted too early, but this should sort it. Its a fairly common issue:

It has iPhone, Samsung and most other android phones in that order

Hi

my number should have ported yesterday by 10pm but still waiting. 

I have the texts confirming it will move over but not happened in the timeframe

The only thing I can suggest is to try restarting the phone, but having said that you should get a text when the port has completed.

 

The only other thing to advise is that ports don’t take place on a weekend (or bank holidays etc) so it may not happen until Monday or Tuesday - you could contact them to see why it didn’t happen

i have been in touch with your teams on Friday, Saturday and Today. I have been promised a change over tomorrow, 4 days later than originally told
