I ordered a phone wednesday, delivered Thursday, but missed as stuck in traffic, came today my son took a day of work, driver didn't even knock and not delivered.. I need the phone as going on holiday late Saturday and my  phone is broken..

Contact the courier? You should have an email to confirm this?

I have and because I said there driver was incomitant cos the did not knock on the door, they ended chat and won't reopen one

If you ordered from iD probably best to resolve this issue by using the iD online Live Chat service, to speak to a customer adviser ​@Diane Di Di Martin 

The advisers work until 8pm on weekdays - just tell the 24/7 chatbot you’d like to “talk to a person”.

@Diane Di Di Martin you’ll need to take it up with DPD not iD Live Chat they won’t be able to help. DPD will likely tell you that they’ll try again Saturday as your order is PIN protected, hopefully in time for your holiday.

DPD said no, earliest is next week Monday or Tuesday, so pritty stuffed now

We are very sorry to hear what has happened and appreciate this must be frustrating. 

Unfortunately if the delivery is missed, it is likely it will be redirected to our warehouse where a return will be processed. 

From your messages, I believe you are now on holiday so this will likely be the case. On your return, you would be welcome to apply for the handset again. 

 

Aside from this happening, I do hope you have a lovely holiday 🌅
