Old phone unlocking

Hi there

As previous customers at ID Mobile, my partner and I recently upgraded to new phones in December after our 2 year contracts came to an end. I visited a shop to sell our old Samsung phones for cash. He informed me that my partners phone was locked but mine wasn't. Another store also told me the same thing. 

How is this, how can I check and how can we unlock her phone please?

Can you please confirm the make and model of the handset?

Was the handset purchased from iD Mobile?

    Hi I need to unlock my old Google pixel 6a which I got from ID as I have recently upgraded and want to sell my old handset. How do I do this?

    Thanks for getting in touch. 

    The Google Pixel 6A should not be locked. Have you tried another SIM in the device?

    The same would apply with the Oppo Reno4 Z 5G. Can you please try another SIM in the device?
