PAC CODE NOT WORKING

I am trying to switch my number from 02 and have entered the 9 digit number from the carphone warehouse email I received at time of order 

 

However it is still saying the details are incorrect 

 

please can you send me the correct transaction number

My number should have transferred over today from Vodafone to ID. Gave the correct PAC code which does not expire until 11/03/25. However on seeing the number has not gone over I contact ID via online chat, no use whatsoever!! I need to speak with someone direct regarding this issue. I even spoke with Vodafone who confirmed the PAC code was correct, yet ID say it has expired. Need this resolved ASAP.

Just so you know:

  1. it can take up until 10pm on the day of transfer for it to become useable. Sometimes restarting the phone can nudge this time down. If you tried the PAC more than once this might have triggered the expired prompt - though I’m not too sure if it would say expired rather than an error has occurred.
  2. iD are online only, so their only contact means is live chat - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat - but to alleviate some stress typing talk to person bypasses their chat bot

 

The other thing you could do (though noted you need this sorting ASAP) is await a response from an iDM employee via these forums or try their socials -  Tag @iD Mobile on Facebook / @iD_Mobile_UK on X
